Between the 6th to 5th century BCE, ancient Indian scholar Panini standardized the grammar of the Sanskrit language by establishing an extensive system of morphologies, syntaxes, phonetics, and phonology. This collection of orders is called the Ashtadhyayi which means ‘eight chapters’.
